Refreshing Peach and Honey Iced Tea Recipe

Ingredients
4 large family sized tea bags (black tea is suggested for this recipe)
3/4 cup peach-honey simple syrup (see recipe for this below*, adjust syrup for taste preference)
4 cups water (this is for boiling to steep the tea bags)
3 1/2 cups cold water (to add after steeping)
3/4 tsp Happy Home Peach Extract
sprigs of fresh peppermint leaves (optional)

Directions
Bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a medium saucepan.
Remove from heat and add the 4 large tea bags. Let steep for 15 minutes (or longer if you'd like tea stronger).
Remove the tea bags and add the peach-honey simple syrup*. Stir well to combine.
Once cooled a bit, pour into a 64 oz pitcher and add the 3 1/2 cups of cold water and the Happy Home Peach Extract.
When serving, add fresh sliced peaches, ice cubes and top with fresh peppermint leaves if desired!

*Directions for making the peach-honey simple syrup are as follows:
Add 1 cup honey, 2 peeled peaches (diced into small cubes), 1/2 cup water, and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to a medium saucepan.
Cook on medium heat, stirring often, for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat and strain with a metal strainer. Discard the pulp.
Let cool. Now you have a delicious peach and honey simple syrup for your iced tea!
